Mr. William Roberson, Jr.
Mr. William G.C. Roberson, Jr., age 74, of De Queen, Arkansas, and formerly of Dierks, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.

He was born on November 13, 1947, in Nashville, Arkansas, to William G.C. Roberson and Norene Fay Bearden Roberson. He was a 1966 graduate of Dierks High School. Following graduation, William joined the United States Air Force where he served three faithful years until he was honorably discharged. After his discharge from the Air Force, William joined the United States Marine Corps. He served another twenty years until his retirement and honorable discharge. He later went to work in Maintenance at Tyson Foods in Nashville until his final retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, sitting on the front porch, and his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Eric Roberson; his parents, William and Norene Roberson; his maternal grandparents, Archie and Stacy Bearden; and his brother-in-law, Ricky James.

William leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Waylon Roberson and wife Michelle of Ozan, Arkansas; two daughters and his grandchildren, April Roberson and son Kaden of Texarkana, Texas, and Patricia Autrey, husband Tim, and their daughter Emily of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Pat James of De Queen, Arkansas; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Burg Cemetery, north of Dierks, with Tommy Mounts, Minister, officiating. Interment and Military Honors will follow.
