Wanda June "Peach," White, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 8, 2017, in Bryant, Arkansas. She was born to Ted and Ona Borden White on June 1, 1942 in Dallas, Texas. "Peach" lived with her Mother until her death in 1982. After her Mother's death, she lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Melvin Wylie for thirty-four years. The "light" of "Peach's" life for the past ten years has been her great nieces, Abigail and Maci. She would always get so excited every time she saw them. Christy, her niece was always faithful to make sure she took her girls to visit "Peach" often. "Peach" liked country music and enjoyed going to concerts with Irene and Melvin. "Walker Texas Ranger" was her favorite TV show as well as "The Price is Right." She spent many hours sitting on the front porch watching the various wild animals and also watching the cars go by. Preceded in death by: Mother: Ona White Ferguson; Dad: Ted White; Sisters: Irene Wylie, Winnie Mae and Deloris White. Brothers: Eugene, Rufus, Raymond, Loyal and William White, Joey, Bobby and "Boo" Ferguson. "Peach" is survived by her brother-in-law and caregiver, Melvin Wylie, special niece, Christy Wylie and extra special great nieces, Abigail and Maci Steele and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services for Peach White will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
