Mrs. Tonya Harp

It is with great sadness that the family of Tonya Harp announces her passing on February 8, 2025, in Nashville, Arkansas.  Tonya was born to Newman and Alice Harp on December 26, 1956, in Lubbock, Texas.

Tonya was a graduate of Horatio High School and went on to work in various places during her life.  Tonya was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of twenty-four defining the beginning of many struggles throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Donald Johnson and Herbert Cheadle and a granddaughter Shae Henslee.

Tonya will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Joshua Johnson and Jayce Johnson both of De Queen; her step-daughters, Chantea Cleckler of Ringold, Oklahoma, and Vicky Wood of Hugo, Oklahoma; a sister Robbie Cowling of Idabel, Oklahoma; a brother, Johnny Harp of Ashdown, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Ethan and Austin Johnson of Amity, Arkansas, Christy James of Ringold, Oklahoma, Christa McCleskey of Rufe, Oklahoma; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
