Mr. Tommy Phelps
Mr. Thomas Charles "Tommy" Phelps, age 72, a resident of Idabel, Oklahoma and former resident of Lockesburg, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in a Paris, Texas hospital.

He was born to Joseph Franklin and Francis Wood Phelps on January 19, 1946, in Arkoma, Oklahoma. He worked in maintenance for the D&E TO&E Railroad for over 20 years. He attended church at the Old Center Holiness Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Sarah Phelps in April of 1974; and a brother, Lonnie Phelps in 2012.

He is survived by two sisters, Lucille Dirickson of Horatio, Arkansas, and Louise Stinnett of Texarkana, Arkansas; as well as, a number of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Tommy Phelps will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 6, 2018, in the Old Center Cemetery with Bro. Sam Hendricks officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 5 ^th , from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
