Mr. T.J. Davis
Mr. Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Davis, age 33, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in De Queen, Arkansas.
He was born to James Lee and Carol Lynne King Davis on May 6, 1985, in Hope, Arkansas. He loved the Lord and was a member of the Lockesburg Church of Christ. He was baptized into the church on December 24, 2001. T.J. was a man of many skills and could do just about anything. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, listening to music, bow-hunting and carpentry work, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Davis, and his grandparents, Dorothy Harrison, Ima Jeanne Smith and J.D. Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four sons, Noah, Gabriel, Jedidiah, and Malachi Davis, all of Lockesburg; his mother, Lynne Davis of Lockesburg; three brothers, Jonathon Lee Davis of Lockesburg, Jaymes Quentin and his wife Shena Davis of Lockesburg, and Sgt. Stephen Louis Davis of Fort Bliss, Texas; two sisters, Regina Grubbs and her husband Craig, and Cassie Schroer and her husband Mark, all of Lockesburg; maternal grandparents, Paul and Frances King of Lockesburg; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mr. T.J. Davis will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 7, 2018, in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lockesburg, with Joe May, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, October 6 th , at the funeral home. You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
