Mr. Terrel Strong
Mr. Terrel Maynard Strong, age 67, of Horatio, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the CHRISTUS St. Michael Heath System, Texarkana, Texas.

Terrel was born the second of seven children to Pete Strong and Dallas Clarno on December 7, 1954, in Grants Pass, Oregon. When he lived in Alaska, Terrel worked as a choker hand in the log woods. He later worked locally as a concrete mason. He attended church at the Horatio First Assembly of God and enjoyed riding around, camping, and fish. Terrel truly cherished the time spent with his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dallas Strong; one daughter, Elizabeth Strong; and four siblings, Sherrie Strong, Bruce Strong, Gary Strong, and Jerry Strong.

Terrel is survived by his wife, Connie Strong of Horatio; three daughters, Ashley Strong of Fort Collins, Colorado, Cassie Strong of Horatio, and Dakotah Strong of Lockesburg; one son, Robert Strong of Alaska; one step-daughter, Shaw Johnson and husband Charles of Horatio; three step-sons, Thomas Plunk of Horatio, Toby Timms of Winthrop, and Scott Timms also of Winthrop; seventeen grandchildren, including his fishing bubby, JuWayne Johnson; one brother, Donald Strong of Horatio; one sister, Deborah Strong of Gold Beach, Oregon; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
