Mrs. Tammy Vance

Mrs. Tammy Jean Short Vance, age 54, resident of Dierks, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at her home.

She was born to Edmond Wayne and Athlene Stokes Short on November 9, 1965 in De Queen. She was a graduate of the Dierks High School and was a homemaker. She married the love of her life, Jerry Wayne Vance, on June 29, 1996 in Dierks. To this union, two children were born. She attended church at the Dierks First Assembly of God and enjoyed spending time with her family. She cherished getting to raise her children and very active in anything her family was involved in.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 23 years, Jerry Vance of Dierks; two daughters, Dakota Elizabeth Moore and her husband Nick of Lockesburg and Jessica Cheyenne Vance of Dierks; one soon-to-be grandson, Rowdy Alan Moore; two great-nieces, Ivy Grace and Madison Rose Morrison, both of Dierks; three uncles and their spouses, Kermit and Rexene Short of Georgia, Nick and Joyce Short of De Queen and Kenneth and Florene Short also of De Queen; special friends, Tracy and Dolvin Moore of Texarkana; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Tammy Vance will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
