Tammy Ann Smith Johnson was born May 17, 1963, in Sevier County, Arkansas, to the parents of Luther Lavan Smith and Mary Lou Boyles (Smith). She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Horatio, Arkansas. She departed this life on January 12, 2024. She graduated from Horatio High School and later wed Santhony Johnson and from that union, they had two children, FaNisha Jonte Smith Leavett of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Santaria Qunay Johnson of De Queen, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Lavan Smith; a half-sister, Threada; and a grandchild, Rylen McCollum.
Tammy leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Mary Lou Smith of De Queen, Arkansas; one brother, Steven Lavan Smith of Horatio; three sisters, LaDonna Gail Smith and Carla Annette Smith both of De Queen, and Patti Renee Venzant and her husband, John of Conway, Arkansas; her half siblings, Teresa Hill of De Queen, Jerri Edd of Wilton, Arkansas, Charlotte Phillips of Zion, Illinois, and Bruce Smith of Flint, Michigan; her beloved grandchildren, Bralen Smith, Olivia Leavett, Jaeden Johnson, Jaeclyn Johnson, Jalleigh Johnson, Jakaelee Burcham, Jakynlee Johnson, and Emery Pressley as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Tammy Johnson will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Halsall officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Acres Cemetery in Horatio. Visitation will be Friday, January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen. You may leave a condolence online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
