Mr. Steven Gary Crawford, Sr., affectionately called, Steve, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas, died Friday, April 5, 2024, at his home.

He was one of five children born to Grace Truman and Arlie Ina Murray Crawford in Granite, Oklahoma, on February 1, 1948.  He worked in logistics working for Ruan Transportation for 23 years, where he received the two-million-mile safe driving award.  He later worked for L & J Excavation.  Steve was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, and driving, but his passion was playing golf to the point where he had his own three-hole golf course, which he mowed every day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Eloise McArthur, and a brother, Jerry Crawford.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Steven, Jr. and Terrie Crawford of Winthrop, Arkansas,

and Ronald Wayne and Nicole Crawford of Shorewood, Illinois; a daughter, Michelle Kathleen Worley of Nashville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Caleb Crawford (Cora), Kaytlynn Franklin (Keith), Kaci Candler (Jeremy), Courtney O'Connor (Matthew), Kyle Crawford, Cara Crawford, Kimberly Crawford, Corrin Crawford, Jarrah Furr, and Charles Furr; his great-grandchildren, Byron Crawford, Foster Crawford and soon to be, Nolan Crawford; two brothers, Leon Crawford of De Queen, Arkansas, and Glen Crawford and his wife, Daytona of Mena, Arkansas; his special nieces and nephews, Lana and James Van Voast, Joe Crawford, Robin Crawford Dorsey, Lisa and J. P. Atkins, David and Allison Crawford, and Kelly and Tony Johnson, as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Steven Crawford, Sr. will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Crawford and Bro. Ronald Crawford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt.
