Sophia Sandy Reyna, age 5, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Sophia was born to Rocio Anabel Rosas Cruz in Mena, Arkansas, on September 19, 2019.

Sophia was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church; she always enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. She loved going to school at Parkhill Pre-School and doing her homework. She was a little girl full of love and life; she enjoyed being a prankster, playing outside, eating, drawing, make-up, dancing and singing, board games, and most of all being with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Rocio Rosas Cruz; two sisters, Anely Rosas and Gisel Garcia; one brother, Cruz Rosas all of De Queen, Arkansas. Maternal grandparents, Sofia Cruz and Gregorio Rosas; a number of aunts and uncles, Flora Rosas of California; Elvia Rosas, Rosailda Rosas and husband Dionisio Herrera; Estela Rosas and husband Roberto Martinez; Micaela Rosas and Juan Villeda; Everardo Rosas and Germilyn Espiritu, all of De Queen, Arkansas. Numerous cousins, and other family members, and a host of friends.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 4, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., in the Monsignor Scott Friend Pastoral Center at St. Barbara Catholic Church with Father Ramses Mendieta officiating.  Burial will follow in Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., with the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Monsignor Scott Friend Pastoral Center.
