Mrs. Shirley Campbell
Mrs. Shirley Campbell, 77, of Henrietta, Texas has gone to her reward in Heaven on August 19, 2022.

Shirley was born on November 16, 1944, to the late Wallace Erby and Opal Lola (Ruth) Ward in De Queen, Arkansas. She was married to Preston Campbell. Shirley was a beloved wife, mother, homemaker and would be there for anyone in need. Shirley was a member of United Pentecostal Church. She traveled all over the country with evangelist, Howeta Owens singing at tent revivals. Shirley sang with Abundant Life choir, which later produced many records. Also, she sang with her brother, Denzel and sister, Vergie on KDQN radio. Shirley will truly be missed by many family and friends.

Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by Kenneth Hyde, Diana Corp, Sean Baxter, Anthony Baxter, Denzel Ward, and Alicia Baxter.

Shirley leaves behind her loving husband, Preston Campbell; children, Glen Baxter and wife, Alicia of Ohio, Gene Baxter and wife, Misty, Robert Hyde of Oregon and Karen Stewart; ten grandchildren: Eddie Talley, Josh Talley, Derrien Baxter, Martin Baxter, Shyanne Downing, Justin Baxter, Sarah Baxter, Chris Temple, Allen Baxter and Amy Baxter; brother, Jerry Ward; two sisters, Susie Minor and Vergie McPherson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Campbell were held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas with Rev. J.P. Burks, officiating. Interment followed at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, Texas. You may leave a condolence online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
