Mrs. Shelia Crawford
Mrs. Shelia Renee Mackey Crawford, age 60, resident of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her home.
Shelia was born March 20, 1963, in McAlister, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, Texas, and went on to obtain her associate in accounting from a McAlister, Oklahoma college. Shelia married the love of her life, Joseph Leon "Joe" Crawford, on Wednesday, June 24, 2004, in Idabel, Oklahoma. Joe says, "we've been together forever", sharing a number of loving years. Shelia and Joe are member of the Geneva Missionary Baptist Church in De Queen, as well as the Ashdown CMA chapter. Shelia was an active supporter of United States Veterans and was a member of the Hartshorne, Oklahoma, VFW. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, thrift shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and her beloved puppy, "Puddles".
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Leon and Alice Byrum; her daughter, Jennifer Leah Cooper; and two sisters, Alice Lockaby, and Christy.
Shelia leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Joe Crawford of Foreman; one son, James Odell Lawson and wife Bobbie Jo of Hartshorne; one son-in-law, Carnell Cooper of Idabel; four grandchildren, Kristopher, Olivia, Chris, and Eli; her mother and step-father, Sherry and Leon Stone of Broseley, Missouri; two half-sisters, Trish English and husband Roy of Wright City, and Sherry; one half-brother, Deon Byrum of Broken Bow; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Shelia Crawford will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 26, 2023, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Travis Lane officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ida Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.
