Mr. Scotty Wray
Mr. Scott "Scotty" Lamar Wray, age 64, a resident of Magnolia, Arkansas, and former resident of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, February 18, 2022. He was born to Floyd Crockett Wray and Lois Marie Chandler Wray on November 22, 1957, in De Queen, Arkansas.
Scotty was one-of-a-kind, always met you with a warm grin on his face and was loved by many. Coming from a musical family, music was Scotty's true passion, especially guitar, and he was blessed to have been able to spend his career playing music from a very young age until retirement. A life-long Christian, he is now singing in the heavens with his beloved family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and great-niece Haley Bell.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara Presley Wray of Nashville; brother, Floyd "Bubba" Wray of Nashville; his daughter's mother and dear friend, Cathy Wray of Magnolia; nieces and nephews, Britanny Bell, Jacob Wray, Ashley Krzyszton, and Kyle Bigelow; and great-niece Mattie Bell.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen. You may leave a condolence at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
