Mr. Santos Contreras
Mr. Santos Manuel Contreras, age 52, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Nashville, Arkansas.

Santos was born November 1, 1969, in Guadalupe Victoria, Durango, Mexico, to Jesus Evelio Contreras and Rita Contreras Insurriaga. He married the love of his life, Esmeralda Contreras, on December 12, 1998, in De Queen. Santos worked as a Pipeline Foreman for Black Line Construction. He enjoyed grilling, working, traveling, and most importantly – spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Contreras Insurriaga.

Santos leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over twenty-three years, Esmeralda Contreras of De Queen; three daughters, Veronica Contreras, Leann Contreras, and Ashley Contreras, all of De Queen; one son, Jayden Contreras of De Queen; five grandchildren, Janell, Josselyn, Emilee, Elliana, and Alex; his father, Jesus Evelio Contraras; his siblings, Hector Contreras, Silvia Contreras, Alberto Contreras, Jesus Contreras, Irene Olivas, Maria Genoveva Contreras, Jaime Contreras, Esteban Contreras, Laura Contreras, Ruben Contreras, and Gerardo Contreras; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Santos Contreras will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Templo de Albanza Church, 129 West Locke Ave., De Queen, with Pastor Horatio Sotelo officiating. Interment will follow at Redmen Cemetery in De Queen. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
