Mrs. Ruth Pollard
Mrs. Ruth Anne Crawford Pollard, age 46, a resident of De Queen, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, in the De Queen Medical Center.

She was born to Odell Richmond and Minnie Louise Weaver Crawford on December 6, 1971, in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life, Scott Allen Pollard, on September 3, 1988, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was an employee of the De Queen Medical Center and worked in food service. She attended church at the De Queen First Assembly of God and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, floating the river, fishing, quilting and just being outside. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Odell Crawford.

She is survived her husband of almost 30 years, Scott Pollard of De Queen; two sons, Jeffery Pollard of Lockesburg, and Daniel Pollard of De Queen; two daughters, Zelda Pollard and Ashley Pollard, both of De Queen; her mother, Minnie Crawford of Gladewater, Texas; two grandchildren, Ashton and Hailey Nelson, both of De Queen; as well as one brother, six sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Pollard will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, De Queen, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
