Mrs. Ruby Lee Noey Vallee, age 77, a lifetime resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in a Hot Springs Hospital, surrounded by family.
She was born to Earnest Murphy and Jessie Beatrice Stover Noey in De Queen, Arkansas on October 30, 1946. She was a 1964 graduate of De Queen High School and went on to work in many capacities, but her favorite was In School Detention for the De Queen Elementary School for the last eight years. She married the love of her life, Clarence Joseph "Yankie" Vallee on January 15, 1966, in De Queen, Arkansas, and to this union four sons were born. She was a founding member of the Cossatot Volunteer Fire Department, as well as a Boy Scout Leader for our local troop. She was an active member of the Geneva Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, but her best time spent was with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Yankie, and a brother, Earnest Noey.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four sons and their wives, Robert and Kristy Vallee of Lockesburg, Joseph and Lori Vallee, Michael and Abby Vallee, and Larry and Amber Vallee all of De Queen; thirteen grandchildren, Rachael, Bekah, Russell, Cade, Cooper (Hailey), Cannon, Zachary, Garrett, Walker, Victoria, Gabby, Jack, and Saylor, three great-grandchildren, Bradleigh, Colton, and Chase; her sister-in-law, Jackie Noey of De Queen, as well as other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Vallee will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 200 P.M.,in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Travis Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Wofford's Chapel Cemetery, De Queen. Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen, Arkansas.
