Mr. Robert Hodges, Jr.
Mr. Robert Hodges, Jr., age 89, resident of Horatio, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at his home.

Robert was born to Robert Hodges, Sr. and Euta Beatrice Richmond Hodges on June 23, 1933, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a 1951 graduate of De Queen High School and married the love of his life, Mildred Pauline Bogan, on June 5, 1954, in Horatio. Robert was a Rancher and worked several years as a truck driver for Pilgrim's Pride, until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Foreman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, especially his great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of over sixty-four years, Mildred Hodges; his siblings, Ruel Hodges, Richmond Hodges, Faye Baker, and Ora Mae Wise; and one great-grandson, Zachry Liggin.

Robert is survived by his children and their spouses, Melissa and Willie Liggin of Horatio, Bobby and Teresa Hodges of Lockesburg, Kayla Hodges of Horatio, and John Allen and Dottie Laster of New Braunfels, Texas; nine grandchildren, Labrada Vann, Ashley Lanford, Kirk Hodges, Trent Liggin, Robert Heigle, Jeffery Liggin, Brandi Cole, Stephanie Laster, and Blake Laster; seventeen great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Hodges, Jr. will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 12, 2022, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Trent Liggin and Jeffery Liggin officiating. Interment will follow at Millwee Cemetery in Horatio. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
