Mr. Robert Lowell "Bob" Hartley of Wickes, Arkansas, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Hartley was born January 27, 1946, to Windfield and Esther Hartley in Millfield, Ohio. He was retired from Tyson Foods – Grannis/ Broken Bow Complex, and former school bus driver for the Cossatot River School District. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country proudly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Eddy Hartley, three sisters, Clarmay Hartley, Dixie Walker, and Esther Eline Hartley, one niece, Becky Kunze, and nephew, Steven Hartley.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Charlotte Hartley of Wickes, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Terisia Hartley of Vandervoort, Arkansas, two daughters Leslie Reese of Mt. Vernon, Texas; Heather Andrews of West Monroe, Louisiana; three brothers, Lonnie Hartley of Meridian, Mississippi, Jimmy Hartley and wife Toni of Gahanna, Ohio; Gary Hartley and his wife Francis of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Andrew Baxter, Connor Reese, two granddaughters, Whitney Hartley and Brittany Phillips and husband Nick, two great grandchildren, ReeAnna Caudill and Alayna Kyles, five nephews, five nieces and a number of friends and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Bob Hartley will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Church of the Nazarene in Wickes, Arkansas with Rev. Steve Bradley and Rev. Charles "Buzz" Lassiter officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 P.
