Mr. Rick Chandler
Mr. Ricky Faron Chandler, age 66, resident of Eagletown, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home.

Rick, as he was known to family and friends, was born on February 7, 1956, in De Queen, Arkansas, to Clyde Allen and Dorothy Dean Waters Chandler, the second of eleven children. He was a 1974 graduate of Eagletown High School and worked his career as a truck driver and equipment operator. Rick enjoyed working and music, but best spent his time playing and working on guitars. He loved his family and cherished the time spent with his Gayla, his children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Dorothy Chandler; his step-mother, Shirley Chandler; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Sloat.

Rick leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Gayla Ticknor, of Eagletown; three sons, Clifton Chandler of Broken Bow, Dwayne Chandler of Horatio, and Lee Ticknor of Bennington, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Colton and Gracie Chandler of Pickens, Oklahoma, and Charles Rickston Allen Chandler of Horatio; the mother of his children, Brenda Chandler of Horatio; Dustin Loving of De Queen, whom he saw as his own; his siblings and their spouses, Melvin and Haidee Chandler of Lockesburg, Lawrence and Leslie Chandler of De Queen, Loy Don and Devonna Chandler of Melber, Kentucky, Billy and Michelle Chandler of Murphy, North Carolina, Jeffery and Jayna Chandler of Pickens, Oklahoma, Patsy Sloat of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Larenda and Bill Montgomery of Lockesburg, Lori and Joey Vaught of Horatio, Mary Joan and Richard Ruth of De Queen, and Sarah and Willie Yandell of De Queen; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Rick Chandler will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 10, 2022, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Bill Weeks and Lewis Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at West Line Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
