Mr. Rickey Don Knighten, age 65, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.

Rickey Don was born on November 4, 1960, in Dallas, Texas to Robert Junior and Mary Sue Edwards Knighten. He was a Foreman High School graduate and was the former owner of Knighten Logging. Rickey was a member of the Winthrop Baptist Church, and enjoyed golfing, fishing, was an avid Razorback fan, raising chickens, and collecting eggs, but his best time was spent with family and his special friends, Van Gorman, Richard Pitts, and Rochelle Partlan, other friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Knighten.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son and daughter-in-law Kamrynn Don and Megan Knighten of Winthrop, Arkansas; two daughters, Jessica Ridge of Lamesa, Texas, and Joanne Dickerson of De Queen, Arkansas; his mother, Sue Knighten of Foreman, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Angela and Payton Allen, Asher Ridge, and Noah Ridge, Kackie and Leon Helton, soon to be Jax Knighten; soon to be great-grandchild, Baby Allen; three brothers and their spouses, Larry and Kathy Knighten of Winthrop, Arkansas, Michael Lee Knighten and Raylon Knighten all of Foreman, Arkansas; a sister, LaDonna and her husband, James Bushey of Foreman, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Rickey Don Knighten will be held at 5:30 P.M., Friday, July 24, 2026, in the Winthrop Baptist Church with Bro. Audie Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravelly Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Chandler Funeral Home.
