Mrs. Rebecca Sue Wilkins Apple, affectionately known as Beckie to friends and family, age 71, a resident of Grannis, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her home.

Beckie was born to Roy Lee and Faye Eloise Owens Wilkins on October 2, 1954, in Russellville, Arkansas. She married the love of her life Glendon Donnie Apple on July 7, 1972, in Blue Ball Community, Arkansas near Danville. She was a retired administrative assistant from Tyson and also a member of the First Baptist Church in Vandervoort where she taught Sunday school for more than 25 years. Beckie enjoyed church activities, flower gardening, “old” movies, collecting old cookbooks, canning, and most especially being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Beckie leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years, Donnie Apple of Grannis; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Don and Jenny Apple of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgle and Becky Wilkins of Blue Ball, Arkansas, Paul and Susan Wilkins of Danville, Arkansas, Lance and Chelsea Wilkins of Blue Ball, Arkansas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and J.B. Ellis of Blue Ball, Arkansas, Barbara and Al Saenz of Kill Buck, Ohio; along with a number of nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and her beloved dogs, Buddy, Murphy, and Little Sis.

Memorial services for Mrs. Rebecca “Beckie” Apple will be held, 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Vandervoort, Arkansas.
