Mr. Ray Williams

Mr. Ray Williams, age 75, a resident of De Queen, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home.

He was born to Rufus and Vinita Harp Williams on February 4, 1944 in Abbott, Arkansas. He worked as a Well-Driller and served Sevier County and the surrounding communities for many years. He married Michele Janine Tripp on May 15, 1997 in De Queen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bernice Williams; and three brothers, James, Hermon and Raymond Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michele Williams of  De Queen; one son, Danny Williams and his wife Amanda of Gillham; five daughters, Trisha Loyd and her husband Darrol, Linda Williams and Dena Williams, all of Mount Vernon, Texas, Judy Lacefield and her husband Curtis, and Janine Williams, both of De Queen; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
