Mr. Preston Miles
Mr. Preston Elmer Miles, age 68, resident of Wickes, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his home.

Preston was born one of six children to Jasper Elmer and Mary Jo Miller Miles on October 23, 1953, in Mena, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Wickes High School and married the love of his life, Sharon Hargis, on August 30, 1974, in Gillham, Arkansas, and to this union, six children were born. Preston worked a number of years as a Logger, Street Superintendent for the City of Grannis, and as a Rancher. He was a member of the Grannis Trail Riders and enjoyed riding horses, ranching, and brush hogging. Preston best spent his time with his children, grandchildren, and as the Transportation Manager for 5M Farms.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Miles; a brother-in-law, Stanley Jewel; and a sister-in-law, Shelah Hargis.

Preston leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of almost forty-eight years, Sharon Miles of Wickes; their six children and spouses, Leona and Gary Martin of De Queen, Preston Timothy and Lucinda Miles of Watson, Oklahoma, Delores and Adam Mooneyham of Horatio, Lena and Derek Davis of Cove, Tyrel Miles and fiancé Zoe Scott of Maud, Texas, and Tyler Miles of Wickes; twelve grandchildren, Alissa Kinley and husband Mekenzey of Camden, Quinton Miles of Watson, Colby Miles of Watson, Sloane Mooneyham of Horatio, Sawyer Davis of Cove, Ellah Davis of Cove, Kirk Miles of Horatio, Harper Davis of Cove, Tatin Mooneyham of Horatio, Tinley Davis of Cove, Ellis Miles of Horatio, and Stockton Davis of Cove; one great-grandchild, Carson Kinley of Camden; one brother, Jimmie Miles and wife Teresa of Wickes; and three sisters, Wilma Goodman and husband Bill of Wickes, Linda Thomas and husband Terry of Wickes, and Nancy Jewel of Wickes; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Preston Miles will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the Wickes Church of the Nazarene with Pastor B.J. Jenkins officiating.
