Mrs. Phylis Jean White Esch, age 85, a resident of Ashdown, and former resident of Lockesburg, died Wednesday, December 28th at her home.

She was born in Michigan on September 24, 1931. She was retired from Pilgrim's Pride as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Old Time Baptist Church in Lockesburg, and enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sharon Esch, and her husband, Dean Eudell Esch.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Freda Mae Esch of Ashdown, two grandchildren, Thomas Dale Esch of Ashdown and Brandie Jean Esch of Flint, Michigan, five grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
