Mrs. Peggy Jo Cross Pettigrew, age 80, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Baptist Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas, surrounded by family.

She was one of nine children born to Willie Martin and Josie Priest Cross.  Peggy was born December 24, 1943.  She Married Robert Carroll Pettigrew in De Queen, Arkansas on November 3, 1961, and to this marriage, two sons were born.  Peggy was a member of the Church of Christ, and her best time spent was with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Carroll Pettigrew, her brothers, Bill Cross, Virgil Cross, Otis Cross and Clerman Cross; her sisters, Vera Hall, Liz Cox and Lorene Emerson.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Carroll Pettigrew, Jr .and DeWayne Martin Pettigrew, and his wife, Holly, all of Horatio; one brother, Bob Cross of Wimberly, Texas; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Peggy Pettigrew will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 4, 2024, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
