Mrs. Paula La Von Burns Landaverde, age 64, a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

She was born to Robert Von Burns and Hope Mae Miller Rogers on July 27, 1961, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Paula was a Registered Nurse and worked at Christus St. Michael Hospital.  She married Concepcion A. Landaverde on October 3, 1980, in Clarksville, Texas, and they spent 45 wonderful years together.  She was a Christian, and enjoyed reading, watching football, especially the Denver Broncos.  She also enjoyed traveling, and enjoyed going on a cruise with her family, but her best time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, three sisters, Penny Burns, Peggy Bryan, and Patricia Martinez.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Concepcion Landaverde of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sara Landaverde of Camden, Arkansas; one daughter, Amanda Suviaz of Texarkana, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Damien, Vorian, Jack, Miu, Jocelyn, Elora, and Liam; her mother, Hope Rogers of Ashdown, Arkansas; a brother, Dave Rogers of De Queen; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Bryan of Lockesburg; nieces and nephews, Robyn, Denise, Culley, Trisha, Robert, Sara, and Beth and a number of great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Paula Landaverde will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Roden officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Ida cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen.
