Mrs. Paula Kay Morris, age 44, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at her home. She was born to Ron and Phyllis Ellsworth Mills in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on June 29, 1972. She was a LPN, and worked for the Health Department 7 years in Postal Service, 16 years at Poulan as well as a rancher. She was a member of the Horatio Church of Christ, and a First Responder for Central Fire Department. She enjoyed farming, raising cattle, especially orphan calves, helping children with show animals. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with family. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Morris of Horatio, two daughters, Kristen and her husband, Tyler Cribb of Horatio, Arkansas, and Autumn Tayler Pickett of Horatio, a step-daughter, Natasha and her husband Ned McCoy of Gillham, a step-son, James Tel Pickett of Springdale, Arkansas, her parents, Ron and Phyllis Mills of De Queen, two grandchildren, Keegan McCoy and Alexander McCoy both of Gillham, a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Shawndel Mills of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Mrs. Paula Morris will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 23, 2016, in the Chandler Funeral Chapel with Bobby Tatum officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paula Morris Memorial Scholarship, c/o First State Bank, De Queen.
