Mr. Pat Wing
Mr. Patrick Wayne Wing, age 63, resident of Horatio, Arkansas, passed from this life on July 27, 2023, in Texarkana, Texas.

"Moon", as he was known to family and friends, was born April 11, 1960, at Fort Ord, California. Following his time in school, Pat joined the United States Army at the age of seventeen. He was deployed to Germany during peace time and was honorably discharged following six years of service. He worked in different capacities over the years, including time building water treatment plants, as toxicology reporter during the Gulf oil spill, and a number of years in construction. In 2012, Pat went to work at Cooper Tire in Texarkana, where he worked as a Millwright, and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Pat married the love of his life, Deborah Kay Combs, on March 14, 1992, in Crossroads, Arkansas. He and Debbie are members of the Horatio Church of Christ, and Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, tubing with his grandchildren, raising and training Bloodhounds, was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, and watching his children and grandchildren show livestock. He best spent his time with Debbie, their children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee and Jeanne Ann Wing Carroll; and his brother, Jessie Lee Carroll, Jr.

Pat leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over thirty-one years, Debbie Wing of Horatio; his children, Erin Ashley Cody and husband Danny of Haworth, Tyler Ray Combs (Sarah Combs) of Horatio, and Jodi Ann Wing-Eichelberger and husband Cody of Ashdown; eleven grandchildren, Kaeleigh, Dylan, Natalee, Mark, Gunner, Nadia, Chloe, Riki, Stevie, Grace, and Carter; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Ellie, and Rhett; one sister, Nicky Booth and husband Danny of Texas; as well as a number of other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Pat Wing will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Horatio Church of Christ with Minister Bobby Tatum, Minister Cy Davis, and Cody Eichelberger officiating. Interment will follow at Bokhoma Cemetery, Moon, Oklahoma, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen.
