Misty Lynn Duke-Easton, age 47, of Mount Vernon, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Tyler, Texas.

Misty was born on May 31, 1978, in De Queen, Arkansas.  She was known for her love of music, watching horror movies, reading, traveling, and her deep devotion to those she cared about.  Misty cherished the simple joys of life, especially time spent with loved ones, her family, and her precious boxer, Bex, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Duke; her grandmothers, Mildred Duke, Tima Duke, and Wanda Edens; her grandfathers, James Duke, Jessie Duke, and Lowell Edens; her aunts, Belinda Edens and Eloner "Tooter" Edens; and her uncle, Marlin Edens.

Misty leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved son, Gabe Carver of De Queen, Arkansas; her mother, Winona Mickle of De Queen; her sister and her brother-in-law, Brandie Duke and Michael Tindell of Perryville, Arkansas; her loving companion, Jose P. Villela Aguilar of Mount Vernon, Texas.  She is also survived by extended family members who were dear to her, including Kathy Parker and Brandi Henthorn, both of De Queen; Tony Lowmiller of Cave Spring, Arkansas, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom she deeply loved.

A Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, December 20, 2025, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
