Mrs. Mildred Hulse
Mrs. Mildred Modene Aday Hulse, age 82, resident of Lockesburg, died Monday, November 4, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born to Otis "Pete" Aday and Imon Johnnie Aday on September 27, 1937 in Royce City, Texas. She married the love of her life, John Jonas Hulse, on April 17, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. She attended church at the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg and worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Ed Revels. Mildred loved to travel and especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed game shows, reading and had a special love for Elvis Presley, but more than anything, she cherished the time spent with her children and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mildred is survived by her husband of over 55 years, John Hulse of Lockesburg; four sons, William "Eddy" Martin of Lockesburg, Charles Wayne "Chuck" Martin and his wife Jo Ann of Lockesburg, Scott Martin of Texarkana and John Alan Hulse and his wife Becky of Canyon Lake, Texas; two daughters, Terri Lynn Rambin and her husband Mike of Mount Vernon, Texas and Tammi Leigh Johnson of Wylie, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Wayne Aday and his wife Connie of Kaufman, Texas and Jimmy Charles Aday of Lockesburg; seven sister-in-laws; special friends, Dr. Ed Revels and Shirley Rawls; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Mildred Hulse will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 9, 2019 in the Lockesburg Cemetery, with Bro. Jerrel Helms officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
