Mr. Michael F. Vobora, age 65, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on August 30, 2026, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
He was born to Joe E. and Bernice G. Stalnaker Vobora, on January 4, 1961, in Grants Pass, Oregon. Michael served in the United States Navy for 7 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Queen, and he was the founder of Sevier County Prayer Warriors. Michael enjoyed feeding birds, working around his property, cooking, going to church and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Mari Vobora, and one brother, Steven Johnson.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Toni and Ray Wartinger of De Queen; Lonny and Cherie Coleman of Branch, Michigan, Glenn and Pam Johnson of Kerrville, Texas; Jackie and Curtis Halstead of Yamhill, Oregon; along with his aunts, uncles, other family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Michael Vobora will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2026, at First Baptist Church of De Queen with Pastor Josh Herweck officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
