Mrs. Maxine Stark
Mrs. Mary Rebecca "Maxine" Cunningham Stark, age 71, of Gillham, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the home of her daughter in Gillham.

Maxine was born the third of seven children to James Grant and Norma Dean Scott Cunningham on May 5, 1950, in Mena, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, James Thomas Stark, on February 14, 1970, in Gillham, and to this union, two sons and two daughters were born. Maxine and Tommy attended church at the Wickes Pentecostal Church of God, and she enjoyed fishing, gardening, yardwork, antique shopping, and baking pies for her family, but most of all she cherished the time she spent caring for and loving her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ernie Cunningham; and one sister, Penny Wax.

Those left to cherish her many memories include her husband of over 51 years, Tommy Stark of Gillham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Tamara Stark of De Queen, and Rodney and Aimee Stark of Wickes; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberley and Jessie Vaughn, Jr. of Gillham, and Brandy and Jason Gore also of Gillham; eleven grandchildren, Brooke Scott, James Stark, Megan Stark, Hailey Carter, Grant Stark, Caitlyn Carter, Eli Stark, Rebecca Vaughn, Braelynn Vaughn, Garrett Gore, and Hannah Stark; one brother, Jim Cunningham of Waldron; three sisters, Thelma Thompkins and Maggie Stark, both of Waldron, and Aggie (Glen) Parnell of Mena; as well as, nieces, nephews, her loving church family, and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Maxine Stark will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Wickes Pentecostal Church of God with Bro. Chris Burke officiating.
