Obituary

Mrs. Marylan Ann Bowen Dutton, age 77, a resident of De Queen, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Conway, Arkansas. She was born October 22, 1939 in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Carl W. and Anna Mann Bowen. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed yard work, being outside, bird watching, drawing, and painting, as well as an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Dorothy Johnson, and Jess Bowen, and her husband of over 44 years, Samuel W. "Sam" Dutton. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dave W. and Netra Dutton of Texarkana, Arkansas, a daughter and son-in-law, Larenda J. and John Donovan of Conway, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Tiffany M. Donovan, Billy Donovan, Donny Donovan, Mandy Perry, and Lee Perry, two great-grandchildren, Madison Harper, and Daily Donovan. She is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Pat Bowen of Norman, Oklahoma, and Charles and Pat Bowen of Dibble, Oklahoma, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and host of friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Marylan Dutton will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 8, 2017 in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Ida Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, May 7th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com .
