Obituary

Mrs. Mary Minor
Mrs. Mary Charlene Miller Minor, age 80, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in De Queen.

Mary was one of three children born to Thomas Jefferson and Dixie Belle Crunk Miller on August 26, 1940 in Winthrop, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Charles E. Mary and Charles owned and operated Minor's Janitorial Service and were members of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Queen. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, caring for her family, and could shop until she dropped, but most of all, Mary cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over 43 years, Charles E. Minor; one son, Tommy Minor; and a special great-grandson, Carter Paul Rogers.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Pat Minor of De Queen; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Sue and Raymond Rogers of De Queen; five grandchildren and their spouses, Danny and Kristina Rogers of Orlando, Randy and Jennifer Rogers of Maumelle, Joey and Neshia Rogers of De Queen, P.J. and Sharla Minor of De Queen, and Danielle and Jonathan Dooley of De Queen; ten great-grandchildren, Alyssa and D.J. Rogers of Orlando, Parker and Maddie Rogers of Maumelle, Reed and Rhett Rogers of De Queen, Lexie, Landrie, and Livie Faye Minor of De Queen, and Abigail Dooley of De Queen; two sisters, Shirley Williams and Joanne Brizendine, both of De Queen; as well as, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
