Mrs. Mary Evelyn Perkins Brazeal, age 84, a resident of De Queen, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home.
She was born to Ben and Lorna Dune Mitchell Perkins in Koshkonong, Missouri, on July 10, 1932. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening,cooking, making jellies, and her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, James Perkins, and Ruth Cantrell, and in 2006, her husband of over 57 years, Norman Franklin Brazeal.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Patsy Brazeal of De Queen, a daughter, Joetta Jones of De Queen, a brother Robert Perkins of Koshkonong, Missouri, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Mary Brazeal will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 14th in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Bobby Walker and Ricky Hughes officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. You may send an online sympathy message at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
