Mrs. Martha Hullen
Mrs. Martha Ann Carter Hullen, age 90, resident of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and former resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs.

Martha was born on March 6, 1934, in Coban, Oklahoma, to Pete Melvin and Zona Mae Holt Carter, one of four children. Martha was a Homemaker, spending her years raising her children and keeping her home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in De Queen and was a member of AARP. She enjoyed camping, gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, and playing Bingo. For the last eight years, Martha has been a resident of StoneBridge Assisted Living in Heber Springs. During her time at StoneBridge, Martha led an active lifestyle participating in different activities, including her cherished Bingo time, twice a week. Martha was invited to participate in a senior citizen beauty contest where she was recognized as District Beauty Queen, to later compete at the state level. Martha best spent her time with her loving family and friends at StoneBridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Carter and Zona Holt Carter Cox; her husbands, Pete Hicks and F.G. "Jack" Hullen; her daughter, Marsha Ann Wallace; one brother, Murray Dale Carter; and two sisters, Thelma Caplinger and Mary Louise Nichols.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory, her children and their spouses, Michael Lee Lingo, Roger Allen and Alison Gray, Eva Elaine Sherman, Patty David Moss, and Ron and Ginger Hicks; five grandchildren, Daniel Sherman, James Sherman, Austin Wallace, Michael Moss, and Eric Moss; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relative and a host of friends.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Martha Hullen will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Denison Cemetery in Idabel, Oklahoma. Arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen. You may leave a condolence online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
