Mrs. Marilyn Jean Yandell Pressley, age 77, a lifelong resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born to Lum and Leddie Chandler Yandell in De Queen, Arkansas, on July 11, 1946.  Marilyn married the love of her life, Lonnie L. Pressley on March 31, 1961, in De Queen, Arkansas.  While Lonnie made them a living, Marilyn made the living worthwhile.  She enjoyed painting, gardening, and hummingbirds, but her best spent time was with her family, especially her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Bob Gibbs, Betty Perkins, and Leo Yandell, and her husband of over 57 years, Lonnie Pressley.

She is survived by two daughters; Lonnette Taylor of Horatio and Dina and her husband, Bennie Griffin of De Queen; a son, Lonnie (Bud) Pressley, Jr., and his wife, Christa of De Queen; five grandsons; Travis Pressley, Jeffrey Pressley, Dewayne Taylor, and Dustin Taylor, all of De Queen, Jr. Griffin, and his wife, Nichole of Lockesburg; two granddaughters; Darla Fawcett, and her husband, R. B. of Winthrop, Sharla Minor and her husband, P. J. of De Queen; eight great-grandsons; Blaine Pressley, Xander Pressley, Gunner Griffin, Rickar Fawcett, Ryder Fawcett, Riley Fawcett, Jacob Taylor, and Sam Taylor; six great-granddaughters, Lexie Minor, Landrie Minor, Livie Minor, Pressley-Kate Fawcett, Kynder Pressley, and Savannah Taylor; a great-great-granddaughter, Elliana Taylor, as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Marilyn Pressley will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Homer Frachiseur officiating.  Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, De Queen.  Visitation will be on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen.   Arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
