Mrs. Margie Pumphrey Mrs. Margie Brown Pumphrey, age 98, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died May 31, 2017 in Dierks Health & Rehab. She was born to John D. and Florence Anderson Brown in Sylvia, Kansas, on February 5, 1919. She was a homemaker and a member of the De Queen Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Frank Pumphrey, three brothers, J.D. Brown, Franklin Brown, Chester Brown, and a sister, Roberta Gomer. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Vicki Pumphrey of De Queen, a daughter, Janette Pumphrey of Dierks; two granddaughters and their spouses, Faith and Tommy Klitz of Horatio and Melissa and Chris Suttle of De Queen; four great-grandchildren and their spouses, Summer and Tyler Irvan of Horatio, Bethany and Zach Gonzales of De Queen, Evan and Zachary Lee of Foreman, and Melia Marsh of De Queen; five great-grandchildren, Micah, Ashton, Anistyn, Bella, and Zayden; two nephews, Dennis Gomer and Robert Gomer, as well as other family members and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Pumphrey will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Toney Stowers officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Graveside services will be at 4:00 P.M., Monday, June 5th in the Oakland Cemetery, Warren, Arkansas.
