Mrs. Margie Jackson

Mrs. Margie Levina Mickle Jackson, age 82, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, in De Queen.

Margie was born on August 5, 1938, in Gillham, Arkansas, to Edward Young and Elzie May Brewer Mickle. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Weldon Jackson, on March 30, 1985, in Horatio. She was a member of the De Queen Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes and giving them away, music and singing, dancing with Kenny, sewing, cross-stitch, and making Barbie Doll clothes. Margie was happiest when she was helping others or cheering someone up. She best spent her time with Kenny, her children, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth McCain; a step-son, Ricky Dean Jackson; a grandson, John Keith Jackson; her brothers, Milford, Samuel, Earnest, Melvin, Milburn,  and Richard Mickle; and her sisters, Beatrice Billingsley, Elsie Yocum, Lorene Youngblood, Esther McHenry, and Louise Phillips.

Since her passing, Margie's beloved husband of thirty-six years, Kenny, passed away on May 25, 2023.

Margie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Rick Del Donno of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one step-son, Keith Jackson of Mesquite, Texas; her grandchildren, Courtney Del Donno, Reagan Jackson, and Kenny Jackson; two great-granddaughters; one sister-in-law, Doris Mickle of De Queen; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
