Mrs. Margaret "Merle" Miller

Mrs. Margaret "Merle" Youngblood Young Miller, age 92, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas, died February 22, 2026, at Sevier County Medical Center in De Queen.

Merle was born to George Mitchell and Martha Marie Greer Youngblood on December 6, 1933, in Grannis, Arkansas.  She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband of 51 years, Harold F. Young and her siblings; Martha Butler, Helen Youngblood, Howard Youngblood, Harold Youngblood, Troye Youngblood, George Youngblood, Floy Lebow; her grandson, Scott Cory Young and son-in-law Dean Abrams.

She is survived by her husband Eldon Miller of Horatio; one daughter, Sherry Abrams of McLoud Oklahoma; two sons and a daughter-in-law; Sam and Linda Young and Curtis Young all of De Queen; four grandsons, Clint Young and wife Lauren, Brent Young and wife Lacey all of De Queen, Samuel Abrams and wife Megan of McLoud, Oklahoma, Benjamin Abrams and wife Kimberly of Bixby, Oklahoma and granddaughter Caylee Young of De Queen, Arkansas; four great-granddaughters, Bradi Barth, Presli Young, Harper Young and Layken Young;  six great-grandsons, Cooper Young, Hank Young, Lincoln Abrams, Deacan Abrams, Killian Abrams, Oren Abrams; one sister Elsie Jones of De Queen;  two stepsons, two step granddaughters, one step grandson and step great grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Merle Young Miller will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Keith Rose officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
