Mr. Marcus Anthony Johnson, age 40, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed away on August 7, 2026, in Tucker, Arkansas.

He was born to Marvin Earl Johnson and Shirley Bell Hickmon on January 22, 1986, in De Queen, Arkansas. Marcus loved basketball, raising dogs, playing dominos and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother, Daryl Gene Bell.

Marcus leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Hostel Hickmon of Lockesburg, Arkansas; his father, Marvin Johnson of Mineral Springs, Arkansas; three daughters, Analynn Johnson of De Queen, Arkansas, Brianna Castillo of Gillham, Arkansas and Alexis Johnson of Ashdown, Arkansas; five sisters, Phyliss Awe of Texarkana, Texas, Cheryl Belt of Los Angeles, California, Adria Bradley, Kristina Valdez and Kenneshia Brooks all of Arkansas; his nieces and nephews, Phelecia Graves, Alvin Jefferson, Brittney Duncan, Shaliegh Bell, Anthony Velazquez, Andres Velazquez and Valerie Bell; as well as other family members and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Marcus Johnson will be held, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eunice Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Field Cemetery in Lockesburg, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 14, 2026, at the funeral home.
