Mrs. Lou Ann Chandler
Mrs. Lou Ann Smith Chandler, age 65, resident of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Lou Ann was born to James Nathaniel and Betty Lou Pointon Smith on March 14, 1958, in LaPorte, Indiana. On May 15, 1992, Lou Ann married the love of her life, Jeffrey Scott Chandler, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Together they have shared over thirty loving years. Lou Ann was of the Baptist faith and faithfully spent her time caring for her family and keeping her home. She had a giver's heart and longed for nothing more than caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting, creating collages of family pictures, and crocheting. Lou Ann best spent her time with her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Smith; and a daughter, Tony Lou Moncus.

Lou Ann leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Scott Chandler of Alexander; four children and their spouses, Allen (Angela) Moncus of Pearland, Texas, Sabrina (Michael) Hensley of Texarkana, Krystal (Tyler Cotton) Moncus of Jefferson, and Kristen (Jared) Minchew of Texarkana; eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her mother, Betty Smith of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Bruce Smith of Murfreesboro, and Danny (Susan) Smith of Wyoming; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Lou Ann Chandler will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Old Center Cemetery Pavilion with Michael Hensley officiating.
