Mrs. Linda Chandler
Mrs. Linda Ruth Stone Chandler, age 74, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, in De Queen.

Linda was born one of four children to the union of Harold and Hazel Ratliff Stone on June 20, 1948, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Jesse Wayne Chandler, on August 13, 1966, in Rockford, Illinois, and to this union, two sons were born. She and Jesse worked as poultry farmers and Linda was a homemaker. She was a member of the De Queen First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed yardwork, her plants, quilting, and sewing. More than anything, Linda cherished the time spent with Jesse, their children, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over fifty-five years, Jesse Chandler; and her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bob Kennedy.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Beth Chandler of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Mark Chandler of De Queen; four grandchildren, Heather (Brett) Diehl of Richmond, Virginia, Stephen Chandler of Chesapeake, Virginia, Dalton (Emily Revels) Chandler of De Queen, and Annabella Chandler of Hooks, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Wells Diehl, Cedrick Mann, Phoebe Chandler, and Blaydon Chandler; two brothers, Harold Stone, Jr. of De Witt, Iowa, and Travis and Jill Stone of Rockford, Illinois; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Chandler will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 24, 2023, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Belleville Cemetery in Lockesburg. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
