Mrs. Linda Faye Green Hancock, age 76, a resident of Horatio, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, May 13, 2024, in Dierks Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by her family.

She was born to S. E. and Emma Faye Bush Green in De Queen, Arkansas on October 24, 1947.  She married the love of her life, Jimmy Hancock on May 2, 1964, in De Queen, Arkansas, and to this marriage, five children were born.  She was retired from the Horatio School District.  Linda enjoyed gardening, her animals, crocheting, but her best time spent was with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Jimmy, and a half sister, Sandy Cardy.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, five children and their spouses, Renee and Danny Shipman of Barlett, Tenn., Jamie Hancock of Horatio, Kim and Wayne Tate of Decatur, Alabama, Emilee and Jason Vaught of Horatio, and Jon and Kimberly Hancock of San Luis Obispo, California: 12 grandchildren, Rachel, Joel, Phillip, Jordan and his wife, Rose, Alanys, Skyler, Tanner and his wife, Alexandra, Ryan, Leslie, Michael, Noah, and Orion; two great-grandchildren, J. T. and Jett; three brothers and their spouses, Harold Gene and Rida Greene; Mike Green, Reggie and Laurie Green; one sister and brother-in-law, Donna and George Crumbly; special nieces, DonnAnn Crumbly, LaDonna Fulmer, and Michelle Jackson, as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
