Mrs. Linda Chandler
Mrs. Linda Kaye Best Chandler, age 73, resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Linda was born the only child to Dale and Opal Lee Miller Best on November 22, 1949, in De Queen. Linda was a 1967 graduate of De Queen High School, and on December 8th of that year, married the love of her life, Joe Edward Chandler. To this union, two children were born. Linda and Joe raised their family in the Chapel Hill community and have been life-long members of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Linda was a Homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, doing yardwork with Joe, hunting, and fishing. Linda best spent her time with Joe, their children, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Best and Opal Emmerson, and her stepfather, Leon Emmerson.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of over fifty-six years, Joe Edward Chandler of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tammy Chandler of Alexander, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Threet and Marvin, Jr. of De Queen; five grandchildren, Landon Chandler, Austin Harklau, Laken Emberton, Hunter Threet, and Josh Threet; five great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
