Mr. Leroy Merl Stubbs, Jr., age 71, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at his home.

Leroy was born on May 13, 1955, in Gillham, Arkansas to Leroy Merl Stubbs, Sr. and Geraldine Davis Jarrell. He was a truck driver by trade. Leroy enjoyed going to the coffee shop and visiting with friends, he also enjoyed piddlin, doing yard work, making things and listening to music, but most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cynthia Dean Allen Stubbs and one daughter, Sonya Stubbs Turner, and his stepfather, Jessie Jarrell.

Leroy leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Charles Lingerfelt of Bloomingdale, Ohio and Kim and Tyler Frachiseur of De Queen, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Alec Frachiseur, Zae-Lei Frachiseur, Asher Frachiseur, Noah Lingerfelt, Samuel Lingerfelt and Eden Lingerfelt; other family members and a host of friends.
