Mr. Lee Allen, age 78, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Little River Nursing Home in Ashdown, Arkansas.

He was born in Magdalena, New Mexico, on January 6, 1947.  Lee was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country faithfully with the U. S. Army, and was a Christian. Lee worked for and retired from Pilgrims in De Queen, Arkansas. He enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, buying, reselling, horseback riding, and football. He especially loved going places with Buddy and his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Allen, his mother, Mary Day, one son, Allen Lee (Boo) Allen; one brother, Derald Allen; and one sister, Betty Jones.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Kimberly Ballard of Bogata, Texas, Ginger and her husband, Charles Morris of Horatio, Arkansas;  KC and her husband, Will Farley of Buckeye, Arizona; two sons, Richard Allen of Wasilla, Alaska; Kevin Pope of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas; Jackie Burris, of Hooks, Texas,  who was like a daughter to Lee; a sister in law, Arlene Cupit of Broken Bow; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Little River Nursing and Rehab, Gentiva Hospice, and all those who have helped him over the last few years.

A family and friends' visitation will be held, Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
