Mr. Larry Gene McRae, age 78, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home.

Larry was born to Raymond Hugh and Lola Inez Bryan McRae on April 19, 1948, in De Queen, Arkansas. Larry served in the United States Air Force and then went on to be a truck driver. He was a member of the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, driving the truck, and most especially his dogs, Jackie and Tiny.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Virgina “Virgie” Rico McRae, and one sister, Patricia Lingo.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Charlotte McRae of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Nina Rodgers of Dierks, Arkansas; a brother-in-law, Joe Eldon Lingo of Nashville, Arkansas; sister-in-law and caretaker, Salvation Labit of Horatio, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Susan Scott and Ligaya Gray both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his nieces and nephews, Brenda, Becky, Shasta, Meghan, Brad and Tyler; along with a number of great nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services with military rites for Mr. Larry McRae will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro.
