Mr. Larry Hutson
Mr. Alvin Larry Hutson, age 72, resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 30, 2020 in Texarkana, Texas.
Larry was born to Alvin Lem and Faye Pettigrew Hutson on November 4, 1948 in De Queen. He was a 1966 graduate of Lockesburg High School and worked 35 years for D&E TO&E Railroad. Larry began working in 1970 and retired as a Conductor in 2005. He married the love of his life, Tilly Kate Lee, on September 14, 1968 at Falls Chapel, and to this union, two children were born. Larry and Tilly are members of Falls Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served more than 50 years as Elder, Song Leader and Cemetery Manager. Larry enjoyed his time spent at church, restoring antique automobiles, attending and singing at community events and state conventions, his time spent raising cattle, and time spent traveling in the RV with Tilly and their family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of over 52 years, Tilly Hutson of Lockesburg; one daughter, Sebrena Lee Lewis and husband Schafer of Hot Springs; one son, Larry Bryce Hutson and Michelle of Lockesburg; six grandchildren, Grace, Anna, William, Breona, Eden and Brylee; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Lila Jane Reeves of Texarkana; as well as, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Hutson will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Falls Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bobby McKellar and Rev. Ann Holley officiating. Burial will follow at the Falls Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M., until service time, Thursday, at the church. The use of a face mask or covering will be required during your time at the funeral home and church.
