Larry Don Fatherree, age 67, a resident of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

He was born on February 21, 1959, in Nashville, Arkansas to Luther Guther and Ruby Lois Cook Fatherree.  He drove a truck over road, worked at Pilgrim Feed Mill, and a sawmill, and loved doing carpentry work.  Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to hang at the country stores and visit with those lovely ladies.  He was a loyal friend and had a smile for everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 43 years, Ginger Lanell Fatherree, two sons, Larry Dale Fatherree, Scotty Wayne Fatherree; his brothers, Charles Fatherree, Luther Ray Fatherree, Robert Fatherree, and Aubrey Fatherree; a sister, Shirley Ann.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Kevin Fatherree of Lockesburg, Arkansas; three daughters, Lona Peters of Mineral Springs, Arkansas; Amy Smith and Karrie Carroll of Tollett, Arkansas; a brother, Terry Fatherree of Nashville, Arkansas; two sisters, Sandra Couch of Nashville, Arkansas; Freda Morris of West Plains, Missouri; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a number nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Larry Fatherree will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Bluff Springs Cemetery in Nashville, Arkansas.
